Last night I went to a social event with my boss, a few coworkers and the summer interns that are here for a few weeks.

My boss talks junk about the orange slice in my Lienenkeugel Sunset Wheat and says no real beer is served with a fruit slice.

So question is: Are Sunset Wheat, Blue Moon, Blue Heron, etc. real beers?

I vote yes.

The beers are real but what makes beer great is that the taste is subjective. What you like and what I like can be different and it is good because if everyone
liked the same thing it would be a dull world. I have a hard time drinking the big three Miller Bud and coors. I like beers with more flavor like the higher
gravity beers which by the way have a much higher alcohol content. I don't look down or pity people that drink the big three, I know what I like and I
drink it. Drink anything...

Some things are better with something else added. Like a shot of Jameson dropped into a Guinness. A little salt in a beer. Lime in a mexican beer. Beer

These silly absolute rules really cause you to miss out.

Is one of the most disgusting beers i've ever tried in my life. Me and some buddies were trying some new beers several months ago and one of the six packs
we picked up was that shit. We left four of them in my friends fridge. That shit tasted like you poured out half a natural light and filled the bottle the rest
of the way up with cherry kool-aid, and I'm a big fan of Sam Adams. And yes I agree that the Strawberry Abita is a tasty brew.

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is of course the standby, but it's still good. I love Pete's Wicked Strawberry Ale, one of the few beers for me anyway that is
actually thirst quenching. I didn't know Abita had a strawberry beer, are you sure you aren't thinking of Purple Haze, which is raspberry flavored
(and it's pretty good as well).
