I like how they say the only reason Nutt recruited well was due to Auburn, Tenn, etc being down.
Evidently those teams being down helps Nutt's recruiting, but has absolutely no effect on Petrino's magnificent recruiting. Robert Elliot lives across the street from me. I was watching the whole fucking time. The Ole Miss coaches came out of the house and Croom and Melvin Smith
pull up on dubz riding spinners. Freeze gets pissed and whips out his cell phone. Croom and Smith pull off with Jermaine Dupree blaring "Money Ain't a
Thing." Croom flipped off the Ole Miss coaches as they were riding off.

It IS easier to recruit to Ole Miss for SEC ball. Face it. We're doing a good job of picking a few guys up from around the Southeast while stocking up on Florida ballplayers. They think being close to Texas should get them great Texas recruits and make them competitive but here's a little secret: Florida HS talent > Texas HS talent. Ask Oklahoma and Texas Tech about how their Texas talent fared in their bowl games when they were up against Southeasterners and Floridians. Case closed.
