I agree. Omar Johnson is a very good coach... | #1 | ||

He has that program turned around in a short time. I hope he gets a better job with a bigger program at some point.

Yeah that was a heartbreaker for the Tigers. They played great defense and had solid pitching for a mid-week game. I was impressed and I'll be pulling for
them to win the SWAC.

He was a great sport all night and blew the game.
He was laughing most of the game.
Your favorite sports team scores a game tying point, you find a dollar in the street, you see someone you hate get their ass kicked in public, all of these blissful moments deserve, nay, demand the most communal of public displays of pleasure: The Landshark. |

They had ten walks and a hbp. The last inning they screwed up by trying to get the lead runner on a bunt and failed and the winning run scored on a throwing error. They had three errors. They played ok for such a big environment but it wsn't a great game by any stretch. Plus they were fortunate that we put Barrett in the game. He had an awesome line. 2/3 of an inning 3 runs all earned with 1 hit, 2 walks and 0 Ks. He's got the 11.64 ERA and the opposition is hitting a cool .396 against him...wait WTF .396??? That's got to be the worst in the history of baseball at any level or in any country ever doesn't it? Sit his fucking ass down for good. |

Yea, I think this was Barrett's last chance, at least it should be. I don't mind running him out against a SWAC opponent midweek to see if he can get
some outs, but if he gets lit up by a SWAC opponent, he's done. Who else are you going to throw him against? He hasn't strung together enough outs to
get through an inning in a long time. I still can't believe we started him for one of our SEC games.
