And it also happened to be The Black Keys, except it was part of this intro starting at about 0:13:
Or the Sanford and Son-ish intro to The Breaks by The Black Keys- no good vids on youtube. Or the intro to Banging Camp by The Hold Steady- also no good vids on youtube. |

Admittedly, I stole this from a sports guy column, but I would walk up to the Sanford and Son's theme song. Who doesn't love that thing..no matter how
many times you hear it.
I have also always been partial to Paul O'Neill's at Yankee stadium. It was always particularly cool in the world series when the place was rockin. He walked up to the intro to Baba O'Reily. It would cut off right after the "out here in the fields" line. |

I have honest to God aroused feelings when I think about how bad we beat them, and I have no hang ups about that. The Egg Bowl was merely
a long cigarette following a proper fucking.

I could care less about this band and the majority of this song | #8

But the beginning remains my all-time favorite intro:

I don't like RATM and I don't even really like that song, but the first 30 seconds are perfect walkup music.

which sucks because I love to hear somebody rip on the bunt.
Regardless, the correct answer to this thread is "Tempted" by Squeeze. Just 'cause its catchy, what with the bass and organs at the beginning. |

Here's my Closer walkout song. | #19
|
"Every Day Is Exactly The Same" I believe I can see the future Cause I repeat the same routine I think I used to have a purpose But then again That might have been a dream I think I used to have a voice Now I never make a sound I just do what I've been told I really don't want them to come around Oh, no [Chorus:] Every day is exactly the same Every day is exactly the same There is no love here and there is no pain Every day is exactly the same I can feel their eyes are watching In case I lose myself again Sometimes I think I'm happy here Sometimes, yet I still pretend I can't remember how this got started But I can tell you exactly how it will end [Chorus] I'm writing on a little piece of paper I'm hoping someday you might find Well I'll hide it behind something They won't look behind I'm still inside here A little bit comes bleeding through I wish this could have been any other way But I just don't know, I don't know what else I can do [Chorus x2]

even if the lyrics to that song went like this:
I'm here to fuck you up, My fastball's gonna nail you in the cup, As long as there's not a man on third base, My curve is gonna hit you in the face, You have no chance with my rocket arm, I'm gonna send you back to the farm (team)
