I love the show but, I'm somewhat irritated by the soapy-ness it took on last night. I'm ready to find out what the Temple is all about, which I can only assume was what was in the previews.  .

But do we really know how the others first got to the island? We know that they have been on the island for a long time, but beyond that I don't think
we have learned why they were on the island, or the exact details of the "power struggle" for the island.

... what initiates the comments is that "Lost" fans won't shut up about it. They talk all about it and then when you stop them before they get
rolling, by saying "I've never seen it" (which I say not in an "I don't have a TV" hipster manner but rather simply so they
won't waste time analyzing it at me) they act like you are a complete retard social outcast, for not watching some huge network TV show. I'm not being
a hipster here when I say I'm just not interested in it.
I've never seen an episode and am not interested, no matter how much people jabber on about it. But they never shut up. And until these people watch at least one episode of "Arrested Development," will not acquiesce to their demands that I run on foot immediately to rent and watch all DVDs of all the seasons of "Lost." Not being a douche, dickhead or hipster here. I'm just not interested in the concept. I am not turned on by most ads for network TV dramas. |

That soldiers came to the island to start testing bombs, and they wiped those guys out.
They could be soldiers, but that wouldn't explain the women since women weren't in the military. i know Richard isn't military, but I don't think that has been explained yet. |
