I do a lot of copying/pasting for proposal, or using Excel and Word together | #2
|
So I can refer to the excel sheet while typing it in Word.

I 've been doing two monitors at work with my Mac for about four or five years. | #3

I get a bit frustrated at home sometimes when I don't have the extra screen. During the Olympics and World Cup, I would open ESPN360 on the
"extra" monitor.
There are rumors of a mac prototype designed for OLED monitors that would have 3 screens that fold out. The technology is there, the two problems at this point are the relatively high cost (sure to go down in the near future) and the short life span of the organic material... about five years. Since I seldom keep a computer more than a couple of years, the lifespan issue would not be a problem.

My tech person says there's a way she can get me a third screen | #5
|
but we haven't gotten around to working on it yet.
The best thing about the two screens is that when I'm writing a report/letter/email referring to some document or spreadsheet or something I don't have to print it out. Using a lot less paper now. |

lots of our techs have three. I don't need that. But it does save paper, cause I used | #6
|
to print out old proposals when I reworked them instead of flipping back and forth constantly, but now I can just pull up the PDF.
Three can be done, just depends if you comp can handle that many video cards I believe.

I have three at work | #7 | |||||||

I struggle to use the one I have it home, it's so inconvenient.
That being said, when I am 50, I probably won't be able to see. |

Running dual 23" flat panels. Single monitors are the devil. |
