I don't know much about them really. The couple of songs I have heard I liked. Anyway, what album/cd
should I purchase first?
I'm all ears.
Whatever the popular recommendation is, I will be purchasing tomorrow.

I've never listened to any of their music besides on here and a few songs I've heard on the radio.

that the real Paul is dead. The real Paul would never marry a one legged chicken. I think USC's brother would agree on that.

I pretty much had to find my own way as far as music is concerned. I'm trying to make up for lost time, hence this thread. As for USC, DUDE...

Few people know that the B side of the single "I Want To Hold Your Hand" was | #32
|
"I Want to Stick My Cock in Your Vajajay". It didn't get much play, but was the topic of much conversation after the Beatles broke up because it
showed a sort of dark underbelly of the band early on.
"WE had to live with the coach who created an environment of hostility within the team, directed at fellow players and assistant coaches.

"Helter Skelter" was more of a return to the early Beatles days. The early 1960s/late1960s transition from "You're Going To Lose That
Girl" would be to something like "A Day In The Life" or "Hey Jude."
"Helter Skelter" rocks like they did during what I think is their best period, 1960-62, playing as a bar band in Hamburg. My favorite Beatles record is "LIVE at the Star Club 1962," though it probably wouldn't be the best record for a Beatles virgin, unless said virgin likes it hard. I've seen the Sex Pistols, Clash, Ramones, etc., play bars and none of them rocked like the Beatles on "Long Tall Sally" on the Star Club record. |

"Shout" was a good book too. How they actually cut their teeth at the Kaiserkellar in Hamburg was crazy. They were surviving on diet pills, called
'prellies', and beer. They did like 4 sets a day. They performed naked once out of sheer boredom. Pete Best, their drummer, was fired right before they
released their first record, and Ringo was added. Some of the luck they had was impressive too. A stewardess took 'she loves you' back from england and
gave it to he DJ boyfriend in Philly I think, and it became a hit while they were in Paris. JFK gets killed and America is hungry for some kind of joy and
along come the Beatles.

I realize that there is likely some Wittgensteinian approach to your statement that would make it | #37
|
comprehensible to a small core of oafish cretins living in isolation on the Falkland Islands, but let's play a little game.
Assume for a moment that I know nothing of Wittgenstein. Further assume that my understanding semantics is close to that of Chomsky. Finally, assume that post-modernist and structuralist paradigms are beyond my comprehension. Given these three assumptions explain how one can appreciate something and not really like it. (BTW. The use of female attenuation is prohibit. There for you cannot use any variant of "I like him, but I don't LIKE HIM like him" to describe the underlying semantic elements of the statement.) You have thirty minutes to complete the task. Please double-space and use either MLA or APA citation protocols.

As far as their albums go, yeah, Sgt. Peppers was probably considered the greatest rock and roll album of all time, but if you want their most popular songs,
get The Beatles 1962-1966 and The Beatles 1967-1970. Those cover a lot of their hits.
