I have two options for this weekend. We have four people. We can either pay 400-500 bucks to rent a house for the weekend or pay $59/night to stay at the Ole
Miss Motel. I know the place isn't "nice". But, is it at least clean? Is it worth it to save a few hundred bucks? All we care about is a place to
sleep and shower. Also, are the rooms big enough for four people to share?

Everything is kind of old looking, but it's clean. And I like being able to walk to the square and back.
But four to a room? Not four guys. Two couples? I guess. But at $59 a night, splurge and just go two to a room.

It's pretty old and run down, but always seems clean. I like that it is cheap and in a convenient location.

It's decent enough. Just try not to think about the 78,000 loads of spunk that has been deposited on the bed spread, sheets, floors, furniture, walls
etc... It's a place to sleep and shower.

For the last 20+ years, I've known people who have stayed there and have never heard of any problem with any kind of bug...the only complaint I've ever
heard about the place is from uptight social-climbers who think it is beneath them. It was remodeled extensively when Heart Of Dixie was made here and has been
at least a couple of times since then. The family that owns it are good, friendly local people who don't ship the profits out of county and state. The
rooms I've been in, I don't see why 4 guys couldn't stay there. It all depends on what you're looking for. The Ole Miss Motel is inexpensive,
very close to live music and pretty girls work at the juice bar across the street, which has wonderful hangover elixirs.

Just relaying what I heard....The Johnson was the place to stay until economic development on West Jackson.
