for all the marbles and then good lord baby Jesus shows up in the clouds to call me and all the other good Rebels home... what do we do? Accept our eternal

The fact that you think the NCAA will have a 2 seed host over a 1 seed or that you think the NCAA would rather 3,600 fans instead of 9,000.

That your AD didn't even put in a bid to host the Super.
And, not to pile on, but like the others basically said, there have to be pretty special circumstances for a No. 2 seed to host over a No. 1 seed from another regional. The fact that you would have ~6,000 less in attendance per game than we would isn't what I'd call a 'special circumstance'. |

a. you're a state fan so why does it matter to pretend.
b. Ole Miss hosted a regional as a one seed. Virginia went to a regional and wasn't a one seed. Sure, the official announcement of the super regionals hasn't come as of a few minutes ago and stranger things have happened but it would be a crime comparable to the recent NCAA move with the tennis team. |
