95% yapping - 5% something actually happening. I'm having a hard time hanging in and it's just episode 2.
Ya'll were right about The Wire however. It's great.

I'm taking Music Snob's advice and sticking with it. The first episode was okay, the second so far is a snoozer. I'm trusting that they are just
establishing the characters and they'll do more than cuss at each other as the story progresses.
I mean, if I just wanted to hear dirty drunk people cuss at each other, I'd go to the family reunion every year.

You will learn to love the way they talk. Its the best part of the show. The dialogue eventually becomes a kind of ultra-vulgar western iambic pentameter. I
loved listening to the conversations, especially from Al.

McCabe and Mrs. Miller? Really? I'll have to give it another dry. I only watched the first 15 minutes or so before I got bored. Robert Altman annoys me at
times.
