I know he started the band and shit. But it was a lil too psychedelic for my taste. But many of my favorite PF songs were made
because he went batshit crazy. Wish You Were Here, obviously is one of their top songs(which I fucking love). Some of the stuff they made with Syd is a little "out there", some of it I like. Fletcher Memorial Home is awesome, yet fucking weird. But I love it. *Babbling over*

I don't hate Coldplay. I love "Yellow". I don't hate a song they put out recently. Personally, they just aren't my thing. Its not that
they suck that bad. They just "aren't my cup of tea."
If that's your thing, good for you. But with that being said, if that's the band you picked to represent every one of your post, I don't expect you to be very knowledgeable with 60-70's rock 'n roll. It's fine. I won't really give you shit. I may fuck with you from time to time. But you could fuck with me on some of my musical tastes. You are pretty spot on with that. Im not very knowledgeable about music, or anything for that matter.
If I like what I hear I fucking listen to them. Regardless of what people think about them, obviously. Since Ive been on this board I have been introduced to bands that I more than likely would not have ever been introduced to. Modest Mouse stands out amognst alll of them, including Radiohead. I love both of them, seriously love 'em. Been listening to PF since about '95 and love them also, but what do know about 60-70's rock, right? Oh yeah, I am loving me some Beatles stuff.

I have been introduced to some good music on this board as well. Its one of the reasons why I love this board. Obviously, you must have loved Jeff Beck's version of "Day in the Life" earlier tonight. |
