I was looking for that picture or a players lounge picture.
I don't dispute the fact that State fans, coaches, administration, etc.. make a bigger deal about the Ole Miss rivalry than Ole Miss fans, coaches, etc.. but I think this thread might be over emphasizing the importance of the walls these things are hung on... I've had a tour at your football offices and they are nicer but there are still places that have random shit on the wall. State didn't post these pictures for the public, the advertising firm did.. |

First of all that's awesome. 1) Are the featured players and the big Mstate logo at the end etched glass? 2)When was this built?
The only critique I have of anything is the random colors. While that looks nice and modern now its going to date itself pretty fast and you will be having to redo the room sooner than you really should have to.

that the place has rooms and desks. im sure they had a few million to spend on making it into an impressive place. the entrance has achieved that, imo. but there is a correlation of why the academic center features athletics.....since thats who will be using it |

I'm not suggesting they should have Academic All-Stars and Rhodes Scholars on the displays instead of Athletes...I get it...It's an Athletic Academic
Center.
It just looks more like something that should be the entrance to Davis Wade Stadium, rather than a glorified study hall. In any case, I'd don't give a shit, I was just having some fun. It is a nice space, if you're into that kind of wasteful, overly-optimistic misrepresentation stuff.
