another 31 days and it will be July 31... another 30 days and it will be August 30... another 6 days and it will be September 6, the day of kickoff 8+31+30+6=75 I must be really bored. Edit: 75 days from now it will be 0 days til kickoff.

The game doesn't start at midnight.
We're using hours, not dates. We've had this discussion several times. If today were 75 days until we'd hit zero days until the day before.

And if I didn't get off in 15 minutes, I'd argue this point with you all day.
Clearly, we are counting down the days (i.e. the fucking date) til kickoff. Counting down the hours makes no sense. I've already demonstrated that 75 days from today will be September 6, the date of kickoff. Of course, you rather suck a big, fat dick than admit being wrong. So carry on.

If 1 day = 24 hours (which for the purpose of the countdown it does), then in 75 days, it will be Saturday Sept. 5th. There will be 21 hours left unitl the
kickoff.
