Sam Mallette Houston Nutt Andy Kennedy George Smith My money is on Nutt. Kennedy has to be somewhat grateful right now that Boone stood by him after the international incident, and I just doubt that Mallette did it. That leaves Nutt and Smith. Smith might be harboring enough resentment to do it, but my money is still on Nutt. Retribution for firing a damn intern. Or for chalk board cheapness. Or hamburgers at Tico's. Or on and on and on. |

even though I would like the record to reflect that although I started this thread, I in no way revealed the identity, location, name, profession, gender,
nationality, religious preference, sexual preference, political affiliation, occupation, or favorite television show, of the letter, or it's author. It is
almost like I had nothing to do with this thread at all, ever, at any time, for any reason.

It's a major donor withholding a significant amount of money from the athletic department.
I'd say that carries a good bit more weight than the average bitching post on the Spirit. |

It's not a lack of funds. He just pointed that out to let everyone know the terms of his pledge, since they seemed to fuck that up as well. |

It will certainly make a difference if enough of those guys do it, and if a letter of this sort has gotten out you can pretty much be assured that there are
others withholding pledges who aren't writing letters. It actually makes me think if the gov't/IRS said to us "Well now, $100 more dollars a month
in taxes isn't going to break you, that's not much to you personally". Well, maybe it is and maybe it isn't but guess what? It's fucking
cash money. I've sent piddly ass twenty to fifty dollar donations to OM. That's nothing. Does that mean I and all the rest of the alumni who do the
same should stop sending it?
