People can talk shit about Ole Miss' "hype" all day, but we've got legitimate evidence of a quality team (both sides of the ball) and numbers/wins to back up our elevated ranking. Oklahoma State has a great offense and a shitty assed defense. They lost their bowl game to Oregon, and lost match ups with every quality team they played last season. Why? Posts: 4739 Jun 29, 2009 3:22 PM	They return a high powered offense that had a decent season last year, and they return nothing on defense. Missouri got a lot of hype for those same reasons, and everyone conveniently ignored their defense. The only problem is, there are two teams in the Big 12 that play solid defense (OU and Texas), and they tend to win a lot in the Big 12. Oklahoma State will not compete with those two teams, and they'll likely lose another 2 or 3 games. They are your overhyped team coming into this year.
