So, Drew Pomeranz |

|
27 of the 30 outs he has recorded with team USA have been via strikeout. He set the USA record with 17 in six inninings against Guatemala and is 2-0 with a
1.80 ERA with only two walks. Between his NCAA performance and his time with team USA Pomeranz has made himself a lot of money next year even if Aaron Barrett
will be joining him in the weekend rotation next year.

Yea, I think Pomz may have figured something out... | #1
|
and it may be that you pitch better sober. I'm just glad he has to play for us next year. We're going to need him with how much we lose off our staff.

I qualify this statement by suggesting that I know absolutely NOTHING | #2

about the teams they are playing, but would it be fair to say that the hitters he's facing now wouldn't start for 3/4 of the SEC?
I love me some Pomz, but maybe it's a little of both eh?

I don't care if he's facing Little Sisters of theBlind , 27-30 outs via K is straight flopping balls | #3

And considering he's set a record for something that other pitchers in his same position never did, I'll assume it's still impressive. Obviously,
the other top notch freshman and sophomore pitchers on that staff aren't having the same type of outings he's having against that competition.

who pitched for team USA and had terrific numbers? tells me we need a stronger pitching coach/pitch caller?

A little of both. It's damned impressive, but the competition is very weak. | #6

Several other pitchers on that team have 2+ Ks per inning (although none as high as his is). And his .167 opponents' batting average is actually 2 points
higher than the team average. Here's the cumulative pitching stats for the team. Still, like someone else said, I don't care who you're playing,
you put up numbers like that and it's impressive.

I would have to defer to "users discretion" unless we need an official ruling | #8
