Posts: 170 May 9, 2008 11:45 AM	I spent several months on and off in Twinsburg, OH (20miles east of Cleveland) a few years back. The jake is a great park and the downtown area by the water has really come along way to hear the locals talk. It is a nice area to walk around, lots of bars and what not. The aforementioned rock and roll HOF is cool, I guess. I am not a hall of fame kinda guy. But it was neat never-the-less. Other than that, it is just a big city. I am no Mr. Foders mind you, I did not explore too much, but that was the highlights of my time there.

Posts: 450 May 9, 2008 11:50 AM	The flats is a cool area with bars, restaurants etc... (it's actually on the lake erie canal). You will love "The Jake" - Great place to see a game. RnR HOF is worth seeing. Actually Cleveland is a much nicer city than most folks think - I was impressed. PS - Go eat @ Lola (East 4th street) - Great restaurant in another cool area called the Entertainment district.

The local folks talked like that area was really, really bad not too long ago.

Posts: 452 May 9, 2008 12:36 PM	That area was toxic until they cleaned the river and lake up - I have to give the folks in Cleveland allot of credit - I heard for years that the place was a dump - I traveled there for business on and off for several years during the late 90's and could not believe what a nice city it was, it kind of blew my mind after all the bad things I had heard about it.
