"Olive Branch sucks"...this is almost as dumb as your statement about Polk being a better coach than Vaught. The past 4 seasons, OB has won 10, 12, 12, 11 games...but they "suck". Somebody made it sound like he couln't be mentioned in the same sentence as Vaught. If you take 12 SEC unbiased fans and ask them to name the 5 best SEC football and baseball coaches in the history of the SEC, one would be named and one wouldn't. you can figure out which one that is. As for being hungover, no, I drank my way through it on the golf course as any real man would. And actually made a couple of birdies.

I said if all things were equal in the coaching profession, Polk certainly should be mentioned in the same breath as Vaught. Most of the dodo asses posting acted as if Polk was homeless man just because he is a State guy. This was all before he made an ass out of himself BTW.

But the thing is, if you asked most SEC fans to name the 5 best football and baseball coaches all-time, they'd be able to get the football coaches pretty easily. As for baseball, they'd all get Bertman and most would get Polk, but that'd be the end of the list for most fans.

Most people would rank Vaught easily in the top 10 coaches all-time, but not quite in the top 5. But it's definitely debatable. The point is that being arguably in the top 5 all-time football coaches and definitely in the top 10 > being in the top 2 all-time baseball coaches.

When people outside of MS think of National Championships they think of AP. They think of names like Bryant, Dooley, Shug, Spurrier, Neyland, Fulmer(man that's hard to type). People outside of MS would not include Vaught in their top 5. Period.
