I don't think he is going to Ole Miss, but I could see him going out of state.
I think Bumphis ends up out of state for sure (Bama). Thames could go to MSU or he could go out of state, but I'm not sold he is going to MSU for sure. |

I am not speculating. Thames is going to State. The cat may have slipped out of the bag a little tonight, but it is only a matter or time before he does it.

Really, this is getting out of hand (and starting to piss me off...mainly b/c he makes money doing this). He has been absolutely wrong about any and
everything this summer. I know he has always been bad but ever since McCready took over at Rivals and scooped Yancy on pretty much every (correct) story, I
think Yancy has been basically running with every little shred of a rumor he has to be first...Why does Chuck keep him around?

Because Chuck is no better than Yancy. He is not that great of a writer, just as big as a sunshine pumper as Yancy, and thinks he is the leader of the Ole Miss
media. Jeff Roberson is the only Spirit writer I have any respect for based on seeing him around and reading his articles. He may get the fluff pieces but he
does a good job.

I think Yancy's problem is that he no longer has a source within the coaching staff/athletic department. I think he had a couple on Orgeron's staff
that fed him what was going on. With this staff, I don't think he's getting anything. I think McReady does get information though.
I finally figured that out for sure a day or two ago when he mentioned OL recruiting and how he was trying to milk all his sources to find out who the other OL were that we are after. The only information he was able to gather at that moment came from the Florida scout writer who knew of two prospects that mentioned getting an offer from us. Reality is, I think his "sources" are other scout writers. I don't think he has any reliable inside sources at Ole Miss right now, which makes his information basically useless. |

Chuck is a homer, no doubt, but he has reliable information and doesn't demolish the english language like Yancy. They are not comparable. |

Throw in the fact that he is lazy and you really have something. My biggest gripe with Yance is that he is not objective. He pours the kool aid and then when
it all blows up he throws out the the evaluation excuse. We haven't wanted anybody that we have lost out on according to him, but we better start wanting
somebody soon or we're going to be full up on a bunch of kids from Texas who had offers from Prairie View and UTEP.
