Someone explain this horseshit to me
I fucking hate the subjectivity of basketball. From the officiating to this.
Tennessee [14-11 (6-6), RPI: 44, SOS: 4] Saturday's one-point home loss to Georgia wouldn't necessarily be a disaster in and of itself. Georgia is better than its record suggests and might get into bubble range before long. What is troubling, though, is that the Volunteers have a bad habit of squandering leads. They have led by at least 13 points in the second half of each their past three losses. Of course, the flip side to that is those three losses have spanned more than three weeks, a period in which UT also amassed five wins, including home W's over Kentucky and Kansas State. Still, in advance of Tuesday night's trek to Rupp Arena, it's hard not to think of how much safer the Vols would feel had they been able to hold onto any of those second-half leads.
