Ask NAFOOM: Train to New Orleans
Several friends and I are taking the train from Jackson to New Orleans. I've heard people talk about carrying coolers onboard. However, Amtrak's site says outside booze can only be consumed in sleeper cars. Anyone rode the train lately and can comment? Any other advice?
