I poured a highball of Sailor Jerry's Rum at 11:15. Will have a couple of those today and then probably switch to Red Stripe for game time then a little
Jameson Irish Whisky for post game celebration. I've found that Red Stripe is one of the few beers that allows me to switch from liquor to beer and back
to liquor without getting sick.

Shit, some of the worst mornings in my life including drinking coors lite at games then getting home and switching to whiskey and then going back and forth the
rest of the night. I rarely get hangovers but if I let my beer and whiskey intermingle, I'm fucked. Don't know what it is but Red Stripe, Fat Tire, and
Warsteiner don't bother me.

I like a lot of the Michelob brews but the Pale Ale isn't my favorite. Not bad but they have some good brews for a mass-produced beer. Their Porter is good
shit. Use to drink their honey ale but every time I drank a six pack of it, I felt like I had just eaten a loaf of bread.

And by once a year I mean when it's actually cold in NOLA. It's a solid brew. Restoration Ale's my favorite Abita offering, and Fall Fest is
another solid choice. But Christmas Ale's a good choice on a chilly football-filled day on the couch. z

No, it doesn't hit you as fast if you drink the same amount, but because it doesn't have a vodka taste, you can drink much larger quanities of it.
