Surprisingly this one has nothing to do with Mullen or the "Ninja." Explaining his hatred for Ole Miss...
"You hit the nail on the head. A good example is my uncle. He is a big Mississippi fan and back in the day he used to go to all the games and get 2 tickets to the SECCG every year. Well, along comes 1998. We win the West and go to Atlanta. I'm a 10th grader at the time. My dad didn't have the money to get us tickets to go to Atlanta, and my uncle knew that. Do you think my Mississippi fan uncle offered to give my dad and I his tickets to the SECCG, or at the very least offered to take me with him to the SECCG? Hell no! He took his usually buddy who went with him every year who could pretty much care less about football. I love my uncle to death, he's family and done a ton for me through the years, but I'll forever be mad as hell about that. 17 Mississippi." Fucking hilarious. |

What a fucking douche. So his uncle had a tradition of going to the SECCG every year, and just because MSU makes it to the game, he expects his uncle to change
his usual plans and give away his tickets. Seriously, that board has changed dramatically over the past few months.

Not only that.. | #31 | ||

Even if one believes it was a dick thing to do on the uncle's part- which I don't- to suggest that he did it simply because he was a
"Mississippi" fan has got to be the most ridiculous shit posted on a board dripping with idiocy as of late. Maybe your fucking uncle doesn't
like you or your poor ass dad not because you are State fans and he's an Ole Miss guy, but maybe because you are a stupid fuck.

am a By-God Bulldog fan. It's not my dad's fault that he wasn't as talented/smart/hard-working as my uncle." Gimme, gimme, gimme.

Not when they are rolling on the fucking floor about the allegation that an offensive coordinator who hasn't yet head coached a down is the Bear or Vaught.

Just to clarify... | #34 | ||
|
Jumbotron: Both OM and State were to replace their screens because the contract had ran out on both.
Junction: That was a Student Association initiative. Byrne did nothing on that. Coaching hires: I guess he was never going to make a coaching hire as AD. And I totally agree that part of Byrne's high standing is because of what we had before. But since he has arrived on campus, our Bulldog Club membership has increased by almost 40%. His initial job was with the BC and he has continued to push it since being named AD. And I really think not listening to Polk was a lot bigger than most give credit for.

why all the love? He didn't fire Polk, he just didn't hire who he wanted. Happens in business all the time. Also, many of us have partial hate for
Boone because we know why he hired coordinators in the past. He publicly has said it is because they are cheaper to hire. Why did Byrne? Was he being cheap
or was that the best he could do?

Like I said... | #36 | ||

I think people are imagining who would be our coaches if LT was still here, hence the excitement. And I do think Mullen was a good hire on paper. Was he our
first choice? Doubt it. The one other thing I like is that we only spent 1.2 million since we went the coordinator route.
Also, as I said, he is generating revenue streams. He moved the media at the basketball games to the ends of the court and sold sideline seats for 6K/seat. He sold all of them. Would anyone else have come up with that? I don't know but I do know our previous AD would not have.
