LSU Tigers Fan,
The rivalry that exists between LSU and Ole Miss has been as fierce as any in the country, marked by highlights like Billy Cannon's game-winning 89-yard punt return in 1959 and Dwayne Bowe's game-tying touchdown catch in 2006.
Soon, the rivalry will become official, and the Southeastern Conference foes will have additional incentive to leave their best stuff on the field. Beginning next season, the Ole Miss Rebels and the LSU Tigers will participate in an official rivalry game. The Tigers will host the first edition of the rivalry game on Saturday, Nov. 22 in Tiger Stadium.
In a joint effort between the Student Governments at LSU and Ole Miss, the idea for the rivalry concept will be tossed up to the student body. Student fans can brainstorm ideas for the prize the winner will receive. The game will be similar to the Battle for the Tiger Rag with the Tulane Green Wave or the Battle for the Golden Boot with the Arkansas Razorbacks. In effect, the name of the prize will also become the name of the game.
You can text your suggestions for this rivalry to 225-993-8842. Suggestions will be received through March 28. You may also offer your suggestions on the Student Government Web site at sg.lsu.edu.

"Someone with midget expertise might know. I've met several
in person and don't trust them. My biggest fear is to be driving home from work and one of those bastards pop up from the back seat and start biting me or
just anything. I die from a heart attack as soon as I see him. Most of them are very angry." - ScaldedbanditReb
