let's look at in 3 yrs. hell, we had 18 true freshmen contribute this yr. that'll be down to approx 10-12 in 3 more yrs w/ this yrs class all being jr.s.

1) Many recruits commit early and basically don't go through the process. Colby Berna, on of our OL commits, is like this. He could be the best prospect in our class and "only" has an offer from Arkansas b/c he committed the day after signing day and hasn't even taken calls from other coaches. Another example would be Austin Tate, our TE recruit from Harrison. He only shows an offer from Arkansas on the recruiting pages, and it doesn't reflect that Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin were trying to get him to come on officials where he probably would have gotten an offer.

2) The vast majority of your commits "multiple BCS offers" includes State. Take them out of the equation and see where you fall. I'm guessing you won't like the answer.

Scout is such a good service, it has the following ratings on our recruits:

One-star QB Brandon Mitchell, who had an offer from Michigan and Arkansas despite being committed to play basketball for LSU until a couple of weeks ago.

Two-star OL Shauntez Bruce, who had offers from Florida State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and South Florida.

Two-star LB Ben D'Aguliar, who we have dropped and is no longer committed.

etc., etc. Do you have any idea why your scout rating is the ONLY school that doesn't really match up with the rivals ratings? I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with that fellow named Yancy.

Keep telling yourself our class sucks. But even the Nutt-lovers in Arkansas agree that this will probably end up being the best class in recent Arkansas history.

I don't know how old you are, but you are making razorback fans look pretty stupid. Nutt is a proven winner in the Sec in 10 years. If you do finish ahead of Ole Miss, but you get beat on the field, which that is what my money is on perhaps 7 out of the next 10 match ups, it just goes to show you got all this nice facilities and a premier coach, but lost to your old coach after he turned the table at his new program that he practically owned while he was here.

So far other than one particular corner back from Arkansas, Petrino is not doing great on the defensive side of the ball. That's what you need to be concerned with. His offense won't be as effective against the upper echelon teams as you think it will.

you are really embarrasing yourself, and unbeknownst to you, you're solidifying the argument that the rankings aren't all they are cracked up to be for one more reason of many. Three Running Backs: Scott, Neat, and Hunter. Hunter is still iffy because of injury.
One WR: Montez Phillips - the rumor mill says that because he is a hometown kid, he will greyshirt and eventually come aboard as an athlete. We will add atleast two more.
Four OL's: We will add at least two others on schollie and probably one preferred walk-on
Four DL's: We will add one more for sure and are in a foot race with Arkie for Williams
Seven DB's: Four safeties and three CB's. One of the Safeties will probably move over to LB and we may
Three LB's: We will probably add three more.

Go make up shit somewhere else.

Also, you have to consider that Neat is more of a scatback/slot WR in the Dexter McCluster mold, not a true every down tailback. Scott is the only true RB we're signing. Hunter is either going to take a grayshirt or sign elsewhere. And the other guys that are listed as RBs are being recruited by our staff to play other positions that they also played in high school/college.

Demond Washington will get a shot at the scat back/RB position, but there is a very good chance he ends up at CB before all is said and done. I'd say we needed one or two RBs in this class to fill the depth we'll lose when Eason is gone, and that's really all we've got. As I've said before, the only thing we're missing from this class is a QB, which we may end up getting with Cotton, and another OL or two, and we still have at least one or two on the board.

So I missed by two RB's -- which is interesting and probably news to those kids b/c every single one seems to think they are going to be running the "wild-rebel" next year.

And it looks like you just added one more OL. You beat out of UCF, Middle Tennessee, and South Alabama. Those schools look familiar on all of your OL/DL...interesting.
