I know that Nike does a good bit for them in terms of marketing, but why can;t we follow suit? is it really that hard to link a video tour of the IPF like they've done? any kid with a camera phone can post on youtube. their stadium whil nothing special on the inside, has a gorgeous facade, and that locker room is unreal.

Posts: 1559 Jul 2, 2009 8:31 AM	When you spend what $21 million? on a new stadium and you don;t even update the website, it's just stupid and lazy. According to our football and baseball coaches, our facilities are a major recruiting tool, particularly our IPF and baseball field, yet our website doesn;t reflect any of the work we've done. that's probably the most frustrating thing about Ole Miss over the last 5-7 years. while LSU dedicated an entire website to the planning construction, and completion of the new alex box, we never even put pictures up until the AD got flooded by emails of people urging them to update the photos after rival fans saw the old pics and thought it was our upgrade.

Posts: 1561 Jul 2, 2009 10:23 AM	I agree with that. it definately seems like our Admin is just a little resistant to progress even if it's something like the interweb that's commonplace now. the other thing is I hate how much stuff we charge for. like audio/video of games, photos of new facilities, etc. I know we make some money off that stuff, but throwing the fans a bone from time to time would pay dividends in the long run. how much of a boost in tickets would come from letting the fans get a little free info about the great progress of the team or new facilities?
