I laughed until I hurt the first time I saw that movie.
No Time for Sargeants and The Court Jester are two other old movies that are very funny. Edited because I was thinking of the wrong Danny Kaye movie.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World is in my opinion the funniest of all time. Virtually every great comedian of the time had at least a cameo
appearance. The one exception was Bob Hope.

I like shaun of the dead a lot, but I can't say one is better than the other really. when Nick Frost walks into the old dude's arsenal and says
"By the power of Grayskull!" I almost pissed myself. there are just so many good lines from Hot Fuzz.

made after the year 2000 are awful. Good comedies are still being made to this day.
I was also born in 1987 so I haven't been around long enough to see every comedy...

But, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, etc., are all classics. |
