I think that may be the reason..... | #5

that his death has upset me like this. He gave of himself to charities, with no expectation of adoration or acknowledgement from the general public. He did it
because he wanted to do it. He was a class act.

Awful news. Wonder if his wife had anything to do with it. | #8

Or maybe the girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.

It's being reported as a double homicide now. | #12
|
Regardless of what happened, It's a damn shame and a tradegy. If it is a double homicide, I hope that bastard fries in Hell forever (and I'm sure he
will). McNair was truly one of the good guys in the world.

I still imagine a scenario where the 13-0 Rebels are a mere second or two away from kickoff against USC in the Rose Bowl
for all the marbles and then good lord baby Jesus shows up in the clouds to call me and all the other good Rebels home... what do we do? Accept our eternal
glory or stick around to see if our boys can seal the ultimate deal?

This has been a shitty couple of weeks. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays and now Steve McNair.
It doesn't even feel right mentioning death and Steve McNair in the same sentence. This one hurts the most because it hits so close to home for most of us...

RIP Air McNair | #17 | ||

The man was a certified badass, played hurt constantly and once Eddie George started to suck he never really had that good of an offense to help him. Oh, and
he was a finalist for the heisman at a 1AA school. Doubt anyone pulls that off ever again.

Is this the same Greg Ainsworth who played for Bob Tyler at MHS in the 1960's? | #18
|
I remember watching you as a little kid...you, Tommy Monsour, Bob White, George Ranager, Sam McCorkle, etc. As a matter of fact, I remember hearing George
Shannon say "Greg Ainsworth" tons of times. Because of you guys, one of my goals in life was to play for a State Championship Meridian High football
team.
I got to, playing for two Championship teams in 1978-9 (Mac Barnes first two teams).

20? The rule of thumb for dating women younger than you is..... | #19

...1/2 your age, plus 7. Anything younger than that, while legal, is wrong.
