Of course he was asked about the pending NCAA sanctions... He said what Neal and others have said, that if not for draft night, the matter would already be over. Apparently there is a hearing soon to go over some of the sanctions. The Tunsil comments from draft night are still being investigated and that process is ongoing. He also said that the lawsuit between Tunsil and Miller has complicated/slowed the investigation. But here's the encouraging part... Vitter said that the NCAA has found "no illegal use of funds" regarding Laremy Tunsil. He said that all forms of social media and the iCloud's of all parties involved have been searched. According to the Chancellor, Tunsil's comments on draft night were regarding scholarship money. He seemed extremely confident that nothing would come of the additional Tunsil investigation.
Anyways, sorry for the long post, but I was pretty encouraged by what he had to say. When the question was asked, I expected him to side step it, but that's not what happened at all. Just wanted to pass that along. Hotty Toddy.
